Meet the Autor
My name is Antonina. I was born in Russia, grewn up at South of Ukraine.
I lived for 8 years in Israel and now I settled in Canada. I love every country I used to live at and
I learned lot of things during my life in every place I ever visited.
My mother told me that I have began to make handcrafts when I was only 4 years old...
I don't remember myself not doing any sort of craft, it's my destiny and an important part of my life. You can see some of my works
at special section on this site.
When I was at primary school I realised then that I really want to be a teacher.
I always like to share my ideas and skills with others. So after the school I went to the University,
which I finished as a teacher of domestic work and handicrafts. But I began to teach many years before, so the Diploma for me
was just a peace of paper to prove that I finished the full study course.
I began to create my own designs and project when I was a child,
I tried all the possible sorts of handicraft and needlework and I enjoyed every single one. But my favorite always
were dollmaking and beading. Then I've learned cross-stitch and this turned me on to this very special sort of
craft where I find myself so impressed and fulled with new ideas.
You'll be surprised to know that all my first cross-stitch charts I created
just for friends and for even absolutely stranger people, whom I never meet in my life, I created charts for people,
whom I meet through Internet. It was for free of course,
as I never think that creation of cross-stich charts can be hobby, profession or whatever. It was just some kind of
fun - to learn something new and try myself to create something different then before. But in time I realised that
I really like this work and I want to make more and more different projects. I spend lot of time to work on every single project,
so I hope that you can see it during your work.
At the end of my little story I want to add that I'm a lucky wife and mom of two great kids.
Hope you'll back to my Site regular and I'll try to make you glad
with new nice works.
Warm crafty hug, Yours Antonina
